Tips
Inaugurated in 1994 and designed by Gaston Boero, Fernando Fabiano and Sylvia Perossio. A broken wall of pink granite fronts the river, with rail tracks laid into the ground to evoke the journey to the camps, and inscriptions drawn from biblical text and from Elie Wiesel. Late afternoon light off the water is the best time to walk it, and it sits directly on the Rambla walking route between Punta Carretas and Parque Rodo.
