Solaz, a Luxury Collection Resort, Los Cabos
Corredor Turístico KM 18.5, Cabo Real, San José del Cabo, B.C.S. 23405, Mexico
Solaz, a Luxury Collection Resort, Los Cabos is a contemporary 5-star beachfront property on Mexico's Baja California Sur coast, positioned between San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas along the Tourist Corridor. Designed by award-winning architect Sordo Madaleno, the resort blends desert and ocean landscapes with an extensive curated art collection by Mexican artist César López Negrete. Rooms and suites emphasize indoor-outdoor living, with Huanacaxtle wood, marble finishes, and — in many categories — private terraces, outdoor showers, and plunge pools.

Full kosher-certified kitchen covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with separate meat and dairy preparation and service, served across four distinct on-site venues under Rabbi Berel Simpser's supervision.
Shabbos Options
Guest rooms and suites feature motion-activated lighting, TV, and air conditioning systems, which can be temporarily deactivated on request for Shabbat observance. Electronic door locks can also be adjusted during Shabbat. No further logistics (e.g., a dedicated Shabbat elevator, hot plates, or urns) are confirmed on the resort's own materials — verify directly with Solaz for a Shabbat stay.
Staying in a hotel over Shabbos can raise complex halachic questions — please speak with your Rabbi.
