Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal is a 112-room cliffside luxury resort carved into Pedregal Mountain, accessed through a private tunnel leading guests from the desert into an oceanfront setting. Every room, suite, casita, and villa has its own private plunge pool and Pacific Ocean views; casitas and villas add fully equipped kitchens and private lawns with direct beachfront access. The resort completed an extensive multi-year renovation in October 2025 and holds a Forbes Five-Star rating.
Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal is not a certified kosher property, but is accommodating toward kosher-observant guests: the kitchen can prepare a kosher breakfast on request, and the resort's culinary team supports kosher-friendly wedding and event coordination. For Shabbat and other kosher meals, guests typically eat at Ray's Cabo, a nearby glatt-kosher restaurant about a 10-minute walk away that also delivers to hotels around Cabo San Lucas.
Shabbos Options
The resort itself has no confirmed Shabbat-specific accommodations (keys, elevators, etc.) — this is not a kosher hotel. For Shabbat meals, guests join Chabad Cabo's weekly communal Shabbat dinner (Friday night) and Shabbat lunch (Saturday), held at the same Jewish Center. These meals are glatt kosher, under the supervision of Rabbi Benny Hershcovich of Chabad of Cabo, and are entirely funded by Chabad of Cabo — no one is turned away for inability to pay. Pricing: Adults (15+) $54 per meal, or $85 for the Friday dinner + Saturday lunch combo; children (14 and under) $25 per meal, or $36 for the combo. Kiddush wine is included; a nicer bottle can be pre-ordered separately. Advance registration is required, ideally by Thursday night.
