Wave Resort
110 Ocean Avenue, Long Branch, NJ 07740
Wave Resort is a boutique, oceanfront hotel built directly into Long Branch's Pier Village boardwalk, putting guests steps from the beach and the neighborhood's shops and restaurants. Rooms are compact but all come with private balconies, and the resort leans into its coastal setting with a rooftop pool deck, swim-up bar, and a large rooftop event space with ocean views — all about an hour from New York City and a few minutes' walk from NJ Transit.

All kosher dining at Wave Resort is on-site: Bubbi Bagels (dairy breakfast/brunch), the seasonal LBK Grill (meat, beachside fast-casual), and Soya by Salt (Asian fusion, with pre-booked Shabbat meals) — all under supervision of the Jersey Shore Orthodox Rabbinate (JSOR).
Shabbos Options
Wave keeps old-fashioned physical keys on hand that guests can request for Shabbat instead of the standard wristband/electronic access. Pre-reserved Shabbat meals are available at both Salt Steakhouse (prepaid reservation, with separate dinner and lunch reservation options) and Soya (kosher supervision by JSOR — Jersey Shore Orthodox Rabbinate), giving guests a choice of Shabbat dining venues without needing to bring their own food. A Chabad-run minyan operates nearby at 82 Chelsea Ave, with Kiddush and even afternoon services. The resort sits in walking distance of the boardwalk and local shul options, making it a convenient car-free Shabbat stay.
Staying in a hotel over Shabbos can raise complex halachic questions — please speak with your Rabbi.
