City overview
Cozumel is a Caribbean island off the coast of Quintana Roo, reached by a short ferry from Playa del Carmen or by direct flights into its own international airport. It is best known for the Mesoamerican reef that runs along its western shore, which makes it one of the world's great diving and snorkelling destinations, and for a compact walkable town, San Miguel, where most visitors stay.
