City overview
Prague's Jewish Quarter, Josefov, holds one of Europe's best-preserved Jewish heritage sites: the 13th-century Old-New Synagogue, the Old Jewish Cemetery and the Jewish Museum's synagogues, all a short walk from Old Town Square. Kosher travellers are well served, with Chabad's Ahavat Yosef Synagogue and restaurants on U Milosrdných, the Jewish Community's Šalom restaurant and kosher store in the Jewish Town Hall, and the kosher Hotel King David in the New Town.
