Chabad Jewish Center of Grenada — Shabbos Meals
Grenada
Cost
No charge. Contributions welcome.
The Rozmarins have hosted the Shabbos table in Grenada since 2013, and for most of the year it is the only one in the country. The meals are cooked in the Chabad kitchen and served at the centre in True Blue, minutes from the university campus and the True Blue Bay waterfront.
How it works
Friday evening services begin at 7:00 PM and are followed straight away by a home-cooked Shabbos dinner at the Chabad House. Shabbos morning services begin at 10:00 AM and are followed by Kiddush and a second meal. Both are open to visitors, students and tourists alike, and there is no charge — contributions towards the cost are welcome and encouraged. Numbers swell during the St. George's University term and thin out between semesters, so let the centre know you are coming, particularly if you are a family or a group.
