Rabbi Nissan and Chanie Gansbourg host a communal Friday-night dinner and a Shabbat Kiddush lunch at the Chabad House on rue Saint-Paul Ouest, open to visitors, couples and families. Friday dinner follows the evening service, which starts at 8:00 PM from June to August and changes week to week from September to May. Shabbat morning services begin at 10:00 AM and are followed by Kiddush lunch. Seats are booked and paid for in advance through the online registration form.
How it works
Book online by choosing the date, the meals and the number of adults and children; payment is by credit card or PayPal. Groups book by email. From September to May, message the Chabad on WhatsApp or by email to confirm that week's Friday-night time. No booking deadline is published, so book early in the week. Old Montreal has no eruv.
