At Miami International Airport, the Rental Car Center (3900 NW 25th Street) is reached by the free MIA Mover from the third level between the Dolphin and Flamingo garages, with counters for Ace, Alamo, Avis, Budget, Carnival, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National, Payless, Royal, Sixt and Thrifty. At Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, the Rental Car Center (600 Terminal Drive) sits next to Terminal 1, linked by a pedestrian bridge from Terminal 1 and a free shuttle every 10 minutes from Terminals 2 to 4, with Ace, Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Fox, Hertz, National, Payless, Sixt and Thrifty on site. The main roads are I-95, which meets Florida's Turnpike and the Palmetto Expressway (SR 826) at the Golden Glades Interchange on the area's western edge, and Biscayne Boulevard (US 1), which runs north-south through the area. Many Florida tolls are collected electronically, and the post-paid Toll-By-Plate option is not available in rental cars, so either join the rental company's toll program or add the rental car's plate to your own SunPass or prepaid Toll-By-Plate account for the rental dates (and remove it when you return the car).
