Chabad of San Francisco holds services at 873 Sutter Street, with pre-booked Shabbat meals. Richmond Torah Center - Chabad is at 423 10th Avenue in the Richmond District, and the Schneerson Center is at 2655 Balboa Street. Chabad centres also serve Cole Valley, Noe Valley and West Portal.

Ocean Beach is a 3.5-mile stretch of white beach on the westernmost border of San Francisco, next to Golden Gate Park and part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. Fires are permitted in the provided fire rings between Stairwells 15 and 20 from March 1 to October 31.
